Canned 10/27/16; drank 11/15/16 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy off-white head; a thick curtain of lace.
Lactose sugar, grapefruit & mild peanut butter notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Tart grapefruit & dry oat flavors up front; mild peanut butter notes on the finish.
Fruity & dry; the peanut butter note is odd but not unwelcome. Interesting & sessionable.

Pour hazy orange with a yellow glow. Smell is floral with grapefruit, lemon and yeasty oat. Taste has oats with pale malts setting a base for the fruits, especially the grapefruit, to play with the moderate hops. Feel has a mix of hardiness from oat and airy brightness from hops and high carbonation.

Hazy, murky light orange with three fingers of rocky, tan-tinted head. Webbed, soapy lacing.
Pine, melon and a hint of peanut in the nose. These elements all carry to the taste, coupled with a little flash of sweet hard candy up front and a watery, dully bitter finish.
Medium bodied with strong prickliness in the feel. Not really any of the creaminess I expect from a beer with oats.
It’s okay, but overall, I found this boring and below par. Didn’t like the peanut taste either.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on October 7, 2018. Look is slightly hazy orange juice with a thick creamy white head. Smell is floral hops, grapefruit, melon and sweet malt. Taste is grainy with grapefruit and hints of over ripe melon. Feel is light to medium in body with a slightly bitter finish.

Pours a murky golden color. 1 finger white, frothy, head. The head retention is very good, and some lacing on the glass.
The nose is pretty slight. I just get the faintest hint of hops, but that's it.
Taste - Was not expecting this. I get a chocolate flavor in this beer, on the backside. It is mixed in with a lot of other flavors. I get some orange. Some grapefruit up front. Some maltiness. Damn, is it a complex flavor profile.
Feel - Nice full body. The Hops and the flavors do linger in my throat.
This is one damn delicious beer, and it surprised me. Very good.
