Canned 2/22/17; drank 2/26/17 @ the Yarchives.
Mostly opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE, noisy, bright white head; a frothy curtain of tree-rung lace.
Grapefruit, melon & faint caramel notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Grapefruit & orange peel flavors up front; mild caramel & faint booze heat notes on the finish.
Pleasant; not great.

16 ounce can into a tulip glass. Canned 2/22/17, had 4/6/17.
Pours a hazy, bright yellow, with a one and a half inch foamy head and a good amount of foamy lacing. Smells of pine, mango, some grapefruit, pineapple, orange, yeast. A light, spicy aroma. The taste is even more tropical than the nose- pineapple, mango, some orange, light grapefruit. Less pine up front, but a resiny finish. A light hop bitterness throughout, a little floral up front. Smooth, refreshing, a good lighter body for the style, well carbonated.
Great tropical flavor and aroma, the malt is light, but sufficient. The body could be a touch fuller. Very enjoyable.

Poured from an undated pint can supplied by prager62. I'm assuming it's from the same 2/22/17 release as his. It pours an opaque, light orange hue with a two-finger thin foam head that left medium lacing.
The smell is nice hoppy citrus with mostly orange, grapefruit, and a pine resin backbone.
The taste follows the nose with orange being the dominate flavor and a slight sweetness on the finish to go with a bitter floral taste.
The mouthfeel is medium thick and fairly smooth with medium carbonation.
Overall a nice DIPA although slightly less citrus forward and more one-dimensional than their IPA I had last week.
