750 ml bottle into a tulip glass. This is the Transient version, Hailstorm had a different version. Had 9/3/17.
Pours a lightly hazy pale yellow, with a one and a half inch head with good retention and a good amount of foamy lacing. Smells of brett, Belgian yeast, lemon, wheat, apples, cloves, other spices, light cherries, a little funk, light black pepper when warm. The taste is similar- brett, yeast, lemon, wheat, some malt, some funk, less apples and spices than the nose. A fair amount of bitterness throughout. It got a little watery tasting on the finish. Smooth, well carbonated, a decent body, but the watery thing kind of brings the overall feel down.
Smells great, but the flavor and feel didn’t hold up.
