Pours a very cloudy mix of amber and pale; quick receding white head but some nice little islands of bubbles remain, some lacing present.
The best way I can describe the nose is a bready and slightly toasted herbal/floral dank; I use this term because it is very pungent in nature.
The taste is again bready but even more of a toasted aspect than the nose leads on; nice dose of spice aspect to the hops as well as grassy…the floral aspect shows in the aftertaste.
Verges on medium body; chewy in nature, hops…moderate dry finish with a nice hint of bitter.
This is pretty tasty beer, definitely leans hoppy but maintains a good balance and is quite drinkable.

Sparkling clear yellow-gold with a moderate white foam head settling to a persistently thick and creamy blanket curled around the edge leaving a few reaching arms of bubbly thick lace on the glass.
Taste has a semi-sweet note of corn up front transitioning into a semi-bitter grassy note with hint of waxy rice before a touch of toasted bread emerges.
Clean and softly medium round, the finish is semi-dry and satisfyingly crisp.

Golden straw color that is slightly hazy and sports a sudsy white head that dissipates pretty quickly, this American lager features lemongrass (hops) and crackery (malt) aromas that are on point for the style.
The lemongrass flavors are up front on the taste, but that crackery flavor is so critical to the quality of this beer, as is the crisp mouthfeel.
Transient rocks hazy ales, they rock flavorful big stouts, they rock the “wild” (farmhouse/saison) side of beer nerdery, and they rock lagers. Truly a world-class brewery, IMHO.

16 ounce can into lager glass, canned in 8/2019. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big lemon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an awesome American pale lager. All around awesome robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish; not overly aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome clean pils malt showcase, with great noble hop presence/balance for the style. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example as expected of the brewery. Top tier quality.
