Served in a tulip from a 16oz can.
Appearance: Semi to full cloudy amber color with a white head rising maybe half an inch off the body. Free two sips, head drops quick with slightly sticky lacing.
Smell: Hops scent which is a pretty good but dissipates quickly.
Taste: Smooth grapefruit skin and bitter biter malts, the floral feel actually feels thirst quenching but the citrus might be a bit overpowering for some.
Mouth: Slightly dry feel and heavy lemon finish.
Overall: Nice pick up, a bit on the drier side but the brew is still well above average. If you crave heavy hops and hardcore grapefruit with hints of pine..this is yours. Salud!

Soapy, very listerine-like taste.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau IPA glass.
Look is a clear amber with an inch and a half head.
Aroma is pure pine lemon hops, absolutely intoxicating.
Taste matches aroma. Perfect balance of hops and malt. You don't taste the 8% at all.

Swung by the brewery earlier today and grabbed a 16oz fill to go, enjoyed from a moustache willie becher. Brew has classic IPA looks, sienna orange semi transparent with a frothy IPA cap that had nice staying power. Nose is soft citric tropical fruit...some melon. Taste is more bitter than fruity but there is a nice tropical fruit hop underneath the strong bitterness of this resinous IPA. Crisp and refreshing, but overly bitter.
