Served on tap at the brewery into a conical serving glass.
A: Pours a clear, amber color with a one inch, tan head, modest retention and lacing.
S; Aromas of grapefruit, pepper, and perhaps coriander/cloves.
T: Palate follows the nose. Very spicy with moderate to strong peppery bitterness which sets it apart from most Red Ales.
M: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Maybe a touch watery.
O: Enjoyable, flavorful, and highly drinkable Pale Ale.

The beer comes in a clear medium amber color.
The aroma is fruity upfront with some pear, earthiness, pepper, some medium bready malt.
The flavor follows with a earthy bitterness upfront, combined with pepper, but medium bready sweetness. The finish is dry and with herbal bitterness. The beer in general tastes a bit watery, with light spice flavors and heavy lingering hop bitterness.

Talk about a beer that goes both ways. Pale ale and a French Saison mixed together. First pour it tastes like a pale ale with a saison finish. After it warms it flips flavors. A very good beer.
