Lovely beer that packed a lot more wintery goodness than I expected. Glad that I picked this up on a whim. Nice notes of orange and holiday spices.

The beer comes in a deep amber color.
The aroma hits of immediate spice and gentle tangerine peel, with the clove, ginger, and nutmeg taking over with hints of cinnamon. Reminders of Christmas fruit cake with some toasty and nutty richness and brown sugar sweetness.
The flavor continues on with a bright brown sugar sweetness up front, more of that sweet bready cake quality, onto more winter pumpkin pie spices coming through. The beer dries out after that initial medium plus malty sweetness.
