The pour yields a nice chestnut/ruby red color with good carbonation and a fast white head. The nose is on the subtle side with malt and sugars. The drinking starts with lots of roasted pale malts upfront. A pretty smooth flow that finishes clean and sweet. Subtle flavor notes of caramel, nuts, brown sugar, and dark candied fruits. The mouth feel is on the light-moderate level with a crisp and easy feel. The body is a little light and while not watery it does seem to walk close to that line at times.
