Hmmph. Page blanked after review almost complete, so let's try again. Good, very good, almost but not quite great. Not as dense, heavy, chunky as a milk stout tends to be (this is a milk stout but the site doesn't list that as an option). May or may not be limited, but it is a collaboration series. A bit thin in color and flavor, however, it's lightness means you can drink more of it, which is good since it's quite tasty. Body a porter, or even a sweeter than you'd expect black ale. I wouldn't have guessed it's a stout in a blind taste test. What's refreshing is that you could actually enjoy this one as early as mid October or late spring even so it has a lovely and versatile event horizon.

I enjoyed it and would absolutely go for it again, but if it's a thick, brooding stout you're looking for to accompany your tales of swashbuckling and marauding, this isn't it. Still, while not especially creamy for a milk stout, it's delicious and drinks easily.
