This rating is for the fresh-hopped version of this beer, poured through the Randal in the taproom in Sept. 2015. A beautiful pour with retained head and a wonderful, hoppy aroma. If you are a hop-head, this is the one for you if they ever do it again.

32oz grunt filled at the brewery. This is a summer-seasonal session IPA. According to a sign in the taproom, this is 4.9% abv and has 65 IBUs.
Poured into a Sierra Nevada nonic pint glass, this was a mostly clear golden-amber color, with a good sized bone-white head that left lots of lace on the sides of the glass.
Tartly citrus hop aroma.
Most of the flavor is of soft, floral, lemony citrus and slightly herbal hop flavor, with a light, grainy maltiness.
Light bodied, with a soft mouthfeel.
A decent, light, summer beer with some hop flavor. Not a flavor bomb but eminently drinkable - a qualtity not to be despised in summer, especially this one! I'd like to put this head-to-head with Iron Goat's take on the style. I think IG's was a little hoppier, but I think RIver CIty's take is more sessionable.
