Canned 8/22/22
Also, my can says 5.4% ABV.
I got bubbles doing a tight spiraling twister thing and I wonder if maybe I didn't wash this glass very well last I used it. It looks neat, regardless, so what the fuck. Anyway, a creamy, off white head takes its time receding. Body looks like a marzen, even though this is listed as a wiesnbier. Some sticky lacing. A decent looking beer, regardless of style. Smells grainy with maybe some soft baked pretzel notes. Or maybe I'm just stoned and craving one of those. A little light on the nose overall, but smells decent enough. Tastes fine enough too. Grainy malt and lightly toasted bread. Maybe marbled rye. Not much hop presence. Low bitterness, high carbonation. Drinks just fine if you want a lighter festbier.

Conshohocken Brewing Co. "Festbier"
1 pint can, "CANNED ON 09/15/16" and sampled on "12/29/16
$2 @ Weis market, Conshohocken, PA
Although the head retention could be a little bit better, Conshohocken's Festbier pours a fairly attractive deep amber body beneath a creamy off-white head. As expected the lacing could be a bit better as well. The aroma is clean, if not bright, with clear notes of soft caramel and toasty grains. There's a touch of fruitiness behind that, as well as some hops which give it a floral and gently herbal character. The flavor follows, and it's lightly sweet with a toasty, bready, and grainy maltiness that's accented by the light fruit and hop notes. A moderate bitterness balances it and keeps it dry in the finish. It's really nicely balanced and rounded as opposed to some of the more malty and/or hoppy versions that many American breweries produce. Very nicely done!
