Fact finding out and about carefully circumventing the Philly city limits. Jersey, hugging the Delaware line to the south, and back up around the backside loop. And I think we’ve got another one-two more in us, after this. ‘Conshe’. Seen the town a thousand times from the highway but have never been and they’ve got a brewery, too…
Danced with the out front parking situation and in. Down the long hallway rabbit hole; the room opening to the rear. Lightning bolt shaped wood topped bar, vertical slat wood base, and foot box. Seating for Covid times none. Horizontal wood plank barback wall with a 12 tap stainless panel on center. Glassware shelved to both sides, and a long shelf above with awards, growls, & pieces otherwise. Kitchenings in the corner and merch displayed on caging above. Drafts listed on slat boards alongside.
Concrete floors and rafter ceilings with spinnys & ductwork. Drop pan lamps across the floor and spots over the bar. Cinder block walls in a two-toned gray, or seemingly so, and roll up panel walls to the rear. Conshohocken Brewing logo painted on the far wall. Flatscreen in the rear corner and another in the opposite front corner. 8 tables vertically and horizontally, mostly along the perimeter.
Exterior wood deck to the rear with a few tables umbreall’d and strung ping pong ball lighting. There’s a bike trail that runs below the deck. People with bikes were talking there beerless. I’m not going to lie; I felt kinda sad for them.
11 beers on tap (Puddlers Row, ESB, 5.4%; User Friendly, Blonde Ale, 5.6%; Type A, IPA, 7%; Ring the Bell, Unfiltered Pilsner, 5.2%; Blood Money, Blood Orange IPA, 6.7%; Festbier, 5.4%; Philly Vice, Blueberry Berliner Weisse, 4.1%; Heaps of Green, Unfiltered Double IPA, 6.3%; Life Coach, Session IPA, 4.8%; Nightmare on E. Elm Street, Pumpkin Ale, 5.8%; Mr. Robusto, Robust Porter, 5.4%), +3 offerings poured from cans (MC5, DDH Unfiltered IPA, 6.7%; Double MC5, DDH Unfiltered Double IPA, 8.5%; P-Ville, Double Unfiltered IPA, 8.4%), and 2 from bottles (Six Year Anniversary Ale, Brut IPA, 6.7%; Seashell Saison, 6.8%). I samplered through with the Puddlers Row, ESB; Type A, IPA; Mr. Robusto, Robust Porter; & Festbier. All were solid. They make some good beers here.
Food during Covid life is an amazing pretzel (which we doubled down on), a brat platter, & hot dog platter (the latter two served with chips & pickle). Service was good. Sam put up with our nonsense. Sam, from the shire. Chill house. Either they’re mad dog friendly, or they just haven’t noticed there are dogs about.
Witz says ‘Conshohocken’ is pronounced just like it reads. We are 3 breweries in and arguing abound. It seems that thems that don’t have wheels have some very fucked up ideas about those that have wheels picking up and dropping off those that don’t have said wheels, lest they not be ‘good friends’. Oh, I see. I love my friends. I love my friends. I love my friends. Cool, comfortable space. I may have completed the monthly inspection on some of their fire extinguishers while here, just saying.

I'm surprised I've never reviewed Conshohocken Brewing Co. before, I've already reviewed their new place. I guess I just missed it.
It's a small placed tucked in along the river in Conshohocken, not too far from the Conshohocken Ballet (7th Heaven) and Bar Lucca.
I first came to know about it because some of my cycling friends had happened upon it, as it's right on the bike trail, and that explains the bicycle on their logo and some of the names of their beers.
It's small but comfortable inside, and even if you can't find a seat you can always grab a beer and just hang out and wait a bit, particularly in the summer when the garage doors are open and the back deck is available - and it seems like that's really the best time to go based on the crowds.
They offer 12 beers on tap and a limited amount of food (stuff they can prepare without a ventilation hood and fire sprinkler system). I've never eaten more than just snacks there, so I can't really comment on the food, but I can say that I've never had a less than very good beer.
It's a decent looking place with lots of wood and grey paint, and it's comfortable and relaxing. If you haven't been before it's certainly worth a stop.

A decent brew and a decent brewery. Food is available, but I had none. It looks like a 20 bbl system but the person behind the counter had no clue what a barrel was or what the size of the brewery was. Food appeared to be made behind the counter either in toaster ovens, or as antipasto sort of plates. Beer to go is available in growlers or in 4-pk of 20 oz cans for the non seasonal stuff.
The tap room is in a neighborhood of row houses. Street side it is hard to find as it is just a small door in an industrial building. On the bar side however it looks like it faces a large park with bike trails and the whole back side is garage doors that presumable roll up in good weather.
The beer was clean. Not exceptional, but above average. The place probably is more happening in the summer with the doors up in the back. (Side note: all bathrooms unisex, but single service. Somewhat confusing at first.) Still, somewhat of a sterile looking environment and not anything overly impressionable.
The beer I tried was to style but middle of the road with no flaws as a detriment nor flavor profiles to make it stand out as exceptional. If you want experimental or strong biases in a beer style this was not the place for that.

I've enjoyed every brew I've tasted from Conshohocken. Their new brew pub is just getting it's legs. Some growing pains with the execution of the menu, but it shows a lot of promise.

Really nice inexpensive place, quite friendly, good food. It's along the Schuylkill River Trail, so lots of cyclists dropping in. They have 4 packs of a few of their beers for take-out.

Tucked away from the main drag in Conshohocken PA with extensive signage on where to park. Busy cycling crowd who had a free happy hour table set up (food). Comfortable indoor/outdoor seating with board games to keep the family entertained. Samplers available, and I did the whole menu of about 10 beers. They were fantastic, really one better than the next with few exceptions. They have some light food options which we didn't try but which come in handy. Love the logos, and more importantly, the beer is outstanding.

Nice neighborhood brewery. They are well situated for bicyclists who seem to make up most of the clientele. They have some good brews especially the Puddle Row ESB. A truly fine take on an English pub ale. Food choices are extremely limited. Service mmm...not their strong suit. Getting a surly bartender's attention - after multiple vain attempts (they seem almost deliberately not to look at you flailing your arms) , I figured I'd have better chance of my lottery ticket hitting the jackpot. It didn't either.

Good selection of beers, tried 5 of them all top quality. The IPA is definitely one of the best being brewed in the philly area. Only negative is a weak food selection, they do occasional have food trucks.
Focus on the beer and eat elsewhere.
