Ruby/dark brown with a tiny light khaki head.
Lots of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla in the nose. Very sweet and pleasant.
The vanilla is definitely there, but doesn't taste overly artificial like some vanilla beers tend to. I was shocked how dark and roasty this was. Lots of coffee and roasted malt that lingered for a long time.
A little thin for a porter with so much flavor.
