Notes: Black body beneath a short head of creamy dark tan. Average head retention and lacing. Aroma of bittersweet chocolate and mildly roasty like cold black coffee. The flavor is fuller with more chocolate, some nuttiness and caramel, some mild earth and pine, and a touch of fruitiness. Lots of alcohol lends some bite. Solid bitterness. Dry, roasty, chocolatey finish with some alcoholic heat. Medium-full in body with a bristling fine-bubbled carbonation.
