Clumsy pour leaves me with a fistful of dense, fluffy head. Body is kind of a pale copper. Sticky lacing out the B-Hole. Actually a very pretty beer, excepting my clumsiness. They're going for west coast pale vibes and that's exactly what you get on the nose. It's nothing but pine and citrus and honeyed malt and I dig it much. I might be overrating slightly on that front, but it's been awhile since I had an APA not named Two-Hearted that smelled this good. It doesn't fare quite as well on the tongue, but it's nice enough. The bitterness is there, but everything else is a little washed out. A bit thin, too, but that kind of goes with the mid-5s ABV territory. Not a bad effort, though, and I sure wish there was more like this on the shelves.
