From a 16oz can dated 12/17/25 into a weizen glass.
Pours an opaque black with a little more than one finger of dark tan head. Decent retention and lacing.
Getting some coffee, dark chocolate and roast on the nose.
Bitter bakers chocolate and coffee dominate the taste. Roasty notes and a bit of milk chocolate on the list as well.
Pretty full-bodied. Smooth. Low carbonation. Bitter dark chocolate aftertaste.
Was definitely expecting more chocolatey sweetness in this one. Overall not bad, just not was I was expecting.

Poured into a large chalice: color is very dark brown to near black, head is tan with fine to small bubbles and presents at least one finger thick and laces the glass well.
Smell is big cocoa with a bitter dark chocolate lean, roasted malt, some coffee and nuttiness, light earthy bitterness.
Taste is similar with cocoa and bitter chocolate with roasted malt, light coffee and nuttiness backing it up, some light lactose sweetness with warmth.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness - a bit lighter and cleaner than many sweet or chocolate stouts.
Overall a very good stout with strong chocolate flavor but lighter sweetness and thinner mouthfeel than others in the chocolate stout subcategory.

This began with a the entire contents of a pint can being emptied into a clear glass liter mug. Plenty of dark tan/light brown head was produced by the action, but not to a negative. Almost immediately, that's a very pleasant smell of milk chocolate in the air. The liquid beneath is dark chocolate brown, opaque and relatively bright. An initial response is how lightly bodied this is. A chocolate milk-stout migh justifiably be expected to be thicker than this. To taste, it's certainly not overly sweet, with the roasted malt and hops making this more like a dark chocolate flavor than a milk chocolate one, despite the lactose inclusion. The ABV likely dries out the finish, without becoming noticeable. It's a clean finish, much like the clean interior of the glass, nearly devoid of lacing. Overall, this is a pleasant chocolate stout. It's not sweet, nor viscous enough to be considered a dessert beer, but there's a little too much chocolate to make a session of it.

Purchased at Wegmans, North Wales, PA. $15.99/4pk, 16oz cans
Pours a very dark brown, almost black color. A small skim of beige colored head on the initial pour.
Aromas of dark chocolate.
A very tasty stout. Flavors of rich chocolate, deep roasted malts, coffee, and sweet lactose with a slightly bitter aftertaste. The ABV is well hidden.
A silky mouthfeel even though it is on the thinner side in consistency with mild carbonation.
Overall, my new favorite beer from Conshohoken Brewing. A very easy drinking stout that is top-notch...cheers!
