surprised to see this one scored so low here. like much of their beers ive had, the ratings are always way worse than i think the beer is, they must have gotten a new brewer or turned things around somehow in the last year or so, as i truly have enjoyed almost all ive had in here, and continue to be impressed with the liquid each time i go in. this pils is just a little raw, but i love that, i want to taste my lager, not have it lobotomized! some light haze hangs in this, but the beer is still bright yellow in the glass, an inch of white head on top of it, and a fresh nose of crackery pilsener malt and a light floral tone, springy and good, with some hops in the mix as well. at least as czech as it is german to me. its light on the yeast, some peppy bitterness to help it finish, and high carbonation that makes it very drinkable and refreshing. its simple beer really, but all the elements contribute equally and its just got great flavor. killer with their pork quesadilla in here, i could have had five of these! way better than its ratings, as most of the beer in here is, and honestly one of the better pils types i have had locally, recommended!

Draft at brewery. This would have made a good golden/blonde. Medium golden, small frothy head. Barely noticeable grain aroma, white bread. Taste is light and sweet, no bite. Smooth, no finish. Realistically, probably not a pils.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
