Drank on tap at their taproom on the Bermondsey Beer Micros Mile (I call it the BBMM.) My second from Hiver (the first was 7 years ago), but I'm still impressed with how much local honey can produce such rich flavours and still be balanced (that is, not too sweet.) To me, hops were in small doses here.
I give Hiver very good Overall Hugs for their uniqueness and their commitment to it. Hiver is the only brewer I know of that pushes honey big time. They do lots of other Good Guy stuff, but the honey is unique. And they are persistent, having been at it for 13 years and most of them on the BBMM. I intend to visit them again, and partially explain why in my Place Review.

330 ml can. Pours deep golden with tall long lasting foamy white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of grassy hops and bready malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Herbal hops, bready malt, vegetables and hint of honey fill the mouth. Finish is medium and dry. OK brew.

Oct. 2020: 330 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of honey, flowers and malts. The flavour has moderate notes of honey, but is not very sweet. Some citric notes. The hops are very moderate, dull finish.

Bottle. Straw colour. Slight haze. Medium, dense head.
Light malt and honey upon smelling.
Malt subsides upon tasting and replaced by a green floral hop flavour. Honey still there.
Refreshing feel. Light in body. Brisk carbonation.
Summer beer.
