Poured from a pint can into a pint glass. Overshores has redesigned it's label, from the primarily black label that was used for the bottles, to a primarily white label, very simple. Probably saves money on the printing. Anyway, this beer has a full white head, with nice lacing as it is consumed. The body of the beer is a deep yellow. Spicy-sweet aroma. The first sip is a complex mix; you taste the sweetness of a wheat beer, but the coriander and dried orange peel definitely kick in big time. A very good representation of a Wit beer from a brewery that specializes in Belgian styles.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a clear orange to yellow color with a decent looking finger and a half of white foamy head. Dissipates gently to leave some stringy almost spider web lacing. The aroma had some malty wheat sweetness, decent yeasty/breadiness. Tart fruitiness - somewhat old and then a leathery sweet/barnyard grassy earthiness. The flavor took all of those previously mentioned aromas to try to blend and it somewhat does, but ends up bringing in some cotton candy. Light cotton candy aftertaste, somewhat acceptable to me. Wet sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly good sessionability about it. Soft carbonation. Gentle ABV, almost doesn’t seem quite up to what is stated. Overall, mostly good witbier, if one can look past the cotton candy flavor. Possibly again.

A: hazy; yellowish gold in color; 1 finger white head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;

S: banana and coriander; a little tartness;

T: banana and coriander up front; a citrusy tartness comes in mid-palate and rivals the banana and coriander through the finish; no bitterness;

M: light bodied; moderate, tingly carbonation;

O: refreshing; nice tart finish;
