Lightly veiled blonde, average white foam.
Hoppy smell, but with some tropical fruit notes, a bit stale.
Mango, grapefruit.
The taste starts good, but quickly the maltiness cover all.
Meh.

440 ml can, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.0%. Hazy pale yellow colour, some yeast floaties. Moderate white head. Nice aroma of citrus and tropical fruits. Light bodied as expected. The flavour has distinct notes of citrus and pine needles, hints of tropical fruits. Not too sweet, decent bitterness in the finish. A nice summer refreshment, might buy again.

Spent L2.10 on this in Edinburgh at ASDA.
Straw in color. Slightly opaque for the 1st minute or so. Fluffy white head punches up, retreats to a thin, slightly milky cap.
Slightly earthy and wet malt notes tinged with whispers of floral citrus.
Flavor comes forward more boldly than I anticipated from the nose. Malt backbone is steady, yet gentle handed. Smooth bitterness is earthy and dry.
Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium, carbonation is constant and moderate.
Overall, a yummy grab on my travels.

£ 3.85/Imperial pint on hand pump at Ptarmigan Pub, Drymen, Scotland.
Appearance – 4.
Body – Initially hazy until it sits briefly, then golden yellow and clear.
Head – Creamy and off-white. Multiple fills until the volume was above the one-pint line. Settles to an irregular eight to fifteen mm ring and a thin, rocky head.
Lacing – Good. Continuous partial ring of tiny to small bubbles.
First pour – N/A.
Aroma – 3.5 – Fruity and weak.
Flavor – 4 – Begins mildly bitter with a bit of biscuit malt. Rapidly shifts to slightly bitter. No alcohol, no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 4 – Medium, watery, soft carbonation.
Impression and summation – 4 – It’s a very pleasurable experience – light and lightly bittered. At 4% ABV this is definitely sessionable. I could drink more of these but there are many more beers that I want to try.

500ml bottle from Lidl (£1.69):
Enjoyable stuff here but one that was probably a little basic & standard for the style, it was drinkable throughout though & quite easy going without being all that complex. It was light & floral with some basic sweetness & biscuit flavours coming through but I'm not sure it's one that I'd rush back to in future.

Cask, golden ale. Hopped with Summit and Citra
Cask at a JDW in Glasgow
Pale golden and good condition
Lemon zest, bit of mango on the nose, slight yeast aroma and sweet shortbread
Taste follows on, well balanced light sweet malt and rounded off with a decent bit of bitterness.
A good if unspectacular golden ale from the ever reliable Loch Lomond brewery
