440ml can from Lidl (£1.79):
Dark copper with a translucent body & a large, 3cm head that's foamy & light tan colour; think & creamy looking on the surface too. The nose is malty, lots of biscuit & earthy notes with a nutty backing & faint chocolate malts but not a lot grabbing your attention really. The taste is a bitter, earthy one too that's nutty with some biscuit from the nose as well but again it's quite basic & one dimensional. It's full bodied with fine carbonation & a strong bitterness throughout, lingering at the end too.
