A German hefe with a yeast strain not used in the U.S. (or something like that)
Pours a glowing, hazy golden body, small but firm head.
Aroma is weak banana and bubble gum, which is what I like in a hefe. Too much of either turns me away. For style, this one is a bit off but nothing wrong with it
Taste, a bit weak in the banana again, some clove shines through. Some orchard fruit skins here and there.
The kicker with this beer is its dryness. Very dry, and I like it. Quenching and easy to drink. Not overly phenolic like a lot of American hefes.
