Pale cloudy orange in the glass, solid collar of lace all around the glass along with long lasting surface coverages. Though cloudy, streams of rising carbonation are visible.
Aroma is faintly lemony along with some yeast, some suggestion of hops though it doesn't come across as hoppy or pungent.
Taste is grassy and lemony, pretty clean with a creamy mouthfeel. Slightly citric, though not the intense blast that Galaxy typically delivers. Nice easygoing feel, slight bitterness. Overall worth a try, but not a big first impression from 51st Ward.

Served from tap in a tumbler at Firkin.
Two brand new local-ish breweries collaborating on a Galaxy-hopped cream ale? Right on, man, right on. This stuff pours a clear brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose is decidedly evanescent, with some mild grass and vague sweetness trying desperately but vainly to get their voices properly heard. The taste turns things up a notch, bringing the volume to hefty 3 (of 11), some leafy greens and mild biscuit malt comprising the entire situation. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a smooth feel. Overall, a pleasant cream ale, one that doesn't endeavor to reinvent the cream ale wheel, a plus for everyone. This stuff is very easy to drink, and I hope to one day be able to grab a 12-er of cans.
