Non-BA version, served on nitro at the brewery.
Jet black, light tan foam, compact and lasting head of "Guinness" nitro foam.
Aromas of roast and dark chocolate, dry and not sweet, somewhat muted by the nitro.
Full bodied and flavorful, malt forward, good roast malt character, low bitterness.
Ample bodied and smooth from the nitro, goes down easy for the ABV.

Tasted in a snifter from draft at the ZümBier tap room on February 3, 2019. Russian imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels. Well made stout that drinks easier than it's ABV would suggest.
