Imperial Twisted Mill Coffee Stout

22 ounce gold wax capped bottle, purchased at the brewery a couple weeks ago. No dating that I could find on it, but looking at the brewery's social media posts it looks like this was a late 2020 release. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a couple inch frothy tan head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing. The brew smells like coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate and a bit of dark fruitiness. Flavors are similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some blackberry and a noticeable amount of tart dark fruitiness that I'm pretty sure isn't supposed to be there. Definitely more sour than I like my coffee stouts to be, the sourness eases up some after a while but there's still enough to bug me. Assume this one is somewhat infected. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and has a good amount of carbonation. I liked what I tried on tap at the brewery recently, but this bottled beer didn't turn out well for whatever reason. I have two other different bottled beers from them still to try, and hoping they don't have the same issues as this one.

Look -- Looks like a stout
Smell -- Smells decent, good coffee aroma.
Taste -- For about a half second not too bad, then this really bad, almost sour taste comes out. and that's what lingers.
Feel -- Very thin and watery. Too thin even if it were a porter.
Overall -- Just not a good beer. Shared this with my son and neither one of us could finish it.
Note -- No date or ABV on the bottle. No info on there website either.
