I wanted to like this more than I did. All the elements are there for me to enjoy it, a little bit grainy, a little bit malty, fairly crisp…no, make that very crisp…no, make that a noticeable metallic bitter aftertaste that I do not like.

This is a good Pilsener with the right amount of hops so as not to be in the same category as the popular big beers. It also has a good malt body. Rated 1-7-2022. 35 IBUs

12oz can. Bottom lip has the canning date stamp of '08/12/24', about fourteen weeks in the can.
Mostly clear, pale gold colored body. Thin white head upon pouring, and this results in a thin cap. Very little lacing, just a few scattered tiny spots.
Aroma of toasted bread malts, a little citrus, and spicy hops.
Taste is very similar to the nose, with the good strong base of malts that express toasted bread and caramel, some sweet citrus, and the backing hop spicy note. All get together and blend in the lingering aftertaste, and become floral.
More than medium mouthfeel. Very much coats the mouth and tongue. Good carbonation.
Full of flavor but coating instead of crispy.

On draft at the taproom. Poured a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of caramel, toffee and bready malt. Nice sweet taste with a sharp bitterness.

Bottle from Safeway in Bend. Pale golden, clear, nice fluffy head. Muted grainy aroma. Taste picks up a bit though. Clean, crisp and dry. Pretty accurate.

Very malty even for a pilsner. Smooth and light. Tastes like a bagel in a glass.

12 oz can into a shaker .
From a six pack purchased from West Salem Safeway $10.99. THis beer is 6 days old in the can according to the dates on the bottom
Pours a nice clear medium golden body with a lovely thick and frothy off white head. Great lace down the glass.
Malty aromas mainly. Rather mainstream American lager type aromas really, If i dig my nose deep in the glass..getting some floral hopping.
Taste is a bit more hoppy..again floral..with a tough of grass. Again getting what appears to be corn..but it works. OK
Mouth feel is great for the style medium low in feel medium carbonation and not sticky in the end.
Overall drinkable on a warm evening but not top tier of PNW pilsners,

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 4/15/22.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a light dash of haze and a finger of soft and frothy white foam. Pretty!

Smell: quite malty with a bit of a hop bite. The malt has something of an adjunct quality to it that I don't precisely love.

Taste: malty and a little bit biscuity with a solid but balanced bitterness. The adjunctiness from the aroma is gone, but I also am not a huge fan of the biscuity quality to the malt. Not bad, and certainly well-enough made, but just not to my taste.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a good level of creaminess, especially for the style.

Overall: the biscuity quality means this is never going to be my go-to pilsner, but overall it is not bad and certainly worth a try if you see it.

had a sixer of cans over the last week and a half or so, and sometimes i liked it a lot, sometimes not so much from can to can, its a weird take on the style, stronger than most and really quite malty, even more amber than golden in color, just not that light, but its definitely got noble hops it it, i like that i can taste the yeast through it all, and i think it definitely stands out from the crowd, but not necessarily in a good way, like i dont want this to be so grain forward and strong, i want it to be more refreshing and drinkable, and we found this one to be best when its freezing cold, like right from the ice chest, as it warms it gets less and less good, devolving to almost cheap tasting and a little metallic when its at temperature. i do like the hop bitterness, great carbonation is important here, the yeast is classically european to me, and this finishes on the dry side even with all the grain. it wasnt quite what i wanted it to be, but it grew on me a little bit too, and i was slightly bummed to drink the last one. id like to try some of their other beers, i like something being unique in a classic style, and while it was a partial miss for me here, it has me interested in the rest of their lineup...

edit: moderately better on tap, i think a little cleaner overall, still kind of bold in the style, but better this time than i remember it being from the can for sure.

12oz can I bought at the brewery a couple weeks ago, batch 1533, canned 05/21/20.

Pours a clear light golden with a medium to small head, not a lot of visible carbonation. Smell is biscuity malt, yeasty lager smell (sorry, don't know the word for the smell, it's just what I smell in most light lagers), lots of grass aroma. Maybe a slight hint of caramel or toffee.

Taste is rich -- like a barley syrup, nice hop bitterness. Some of the malt comes across again as a toffee, but really I get mostly grain. Bitterness has a nice bite on the finish, still fairly grassy, but something that makes me think of the bitter skin of fruit.

Mouthfeel is medium, almost thick, leaning toward but not exactly sticky. Overall, it's definitely a tasty beverage. Don't know enough about the style to say whether it's a great example, but I like it.

Look: Clear yellow with a billowing head that slowly pulls back leaving good lacing
Aroma: Cut grass, bready pilsner malt, spicy and vegetal hop notes interplay, honey-like notes come and go as well
Taste: Big and bready up front before a tasty multitude of grassy, herbaceous, and slightly spicy hop flavors come into the forefront. Flavors linger before concluding in a fairly soft and medium dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, – I’d say medium – bold and flavorful, never lacking in body and a quenching finish – quaffable
Overall: This is a tasty American-made Czech Pilsner. I dig what these folks do and this one rotates in and out of my fridge fairly often, especially during the warm months. A delicious take on the style
