I had this beer on-tap in an imperial pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: very cloudy yellow hue with a thin layer of creamy white foam.
Smell: dry and malty with a nice level of funk. Not bad.
Taste: on the dry side with a bit of a toasty autumnal funk and a dash of lavender -- kind of reminds me of a bière de mars. It actually really works for me.
Mouthfeel: good body and carbonation yield a very nice creaminess on this one.
Overall: this beer just appeals to me. It's a little heavy for the style, but it offers a nice flavor.
