On tap at the beer hall in Portland, International Airport.
Pours a brown letter color with a very slight white head, little retention, almost no lacing.
Nose is definitely bourbon forward, with some undertones of date and caramel and toffee. She’s a warm one.
Flavor follows and nose, but the bourbon warmth definitely is the star feature. I’m wondering if this one would cool down a little bit with some age. Still good but definitely bourbon dominant.
Mountfield’s medium, low carbonation, and finishes very warm
