Acquired a 4-pack while traveling in western MA. Never heard of this product before but have had good luck with other Abandoned Building brews so figured it was worth a try. My luck continues to be good. I love the brand name of "Farm to Trail" and the image it projects. Well designed can and the unique flavor of the product within seems like what I would expect from a rye-based farmhouse ale. Well done - glad I purchased 4 rather than just a single.

Poured from a can dated 2/28/18 into the test glass
A - nice copper color, gentle carbonation meanders top side. no appreciable cap, thin lacing acts as evidence
S - Spicy rye notes mash up against a sweet ester from yeast (maybe). An earthy hop thread runs through the aromatics
T - Less spicy more sweet on the palate, think French farmhouse yeast, a touch of caramel and semi sweet malts
M - Medium in body, just enough bitterness to clear the palate. excellent dry finish
O - A very well executed offering, the rye is subtle, the malts base is earthy and quite well done.
