A - Pours clear dark orange-brown, with a light tan head. The head fades to a fairly thick cap, lots of small bubble lacing.
S - Strong hit of grain and grass, a bit of coffee, and a sour sharpness on the tail.
T - Opens a subtle sweetness, a bright maltiness that comes through with bread notes, moderate middle with a smart coffee highlight and a bit of bitterness that expands in the finish, while the sweetness lingers through the close.
M - Moderate weight, decent carbonation, well hidden ABV, and a bit of dryness in the finish.
O - A major improvement on the base beer, the coffee introduces depth, and expands the malty core into something much more nuanced.
