Poured from tap at the brewery into a 4 oz flight glass. Color is a caramel copper, zero haze.
Nose is fruity, berries mainly with a robust malt backbone.
Taste is quite hoppy for a red ale, nice blend of cereal and fruit, a little like oatmeal and strawberries for breakfast.
Mouthfeel is solid, nothing outstanding from the style.
I would recommend this to someone who was timid but wanted to try a bit more aggressive beer.
