From a bottle best by 8 May 2025. Copper color with a purple tint and white foamy head. Strong fruit aroma similar to blueberry. Light body with good carbonation. Blueberry and white bread with a dry finish. A good fruit beer. I've never had raw maqui so can't compare.

pours a reddish color, clear, thick cream colored head. slightly fruity aroma, mixed with mild malt. the fruit aroma and flavor is berry like, my first experience with Maqui. not overly sweet, a touch tart. thinner bodied.

330 ml bottle with a BB date of 25 Feb. 2019 in Santiago Chile on 28 August 2018.
Pours with a clear copper colored body topped by a decent beige head.
I had never even heard of maqui before, let alone knowingly tasted it. Based on the presentation here, this fruit tastes and smells like a mix of blueberries and currants. In any case, it works well in this refreshing, fruity beer that is sweet up front with a mildly bitter finish. There is some mild tartness too
Overall; recommended.
