Light and crisp with a fruity hop aroma. The Atlas Tree stands in an old growth grove named "Atlas Grove" in Prerie Creek State Park that contains a number of the largest trees.

July 27th, 2015 - On this beer trip to Santa Rosa we stumbled upon the hole-in-the wall Fogbelt Brewing. Though it seems a bit north and far off from the actual fog belt, it is a cozy establishment, and with just a few beers on tap, we begin our samplers with the Atlas Blonde Ale. Its bright and shiny, and paler than yellow, with a good hoppy quality on the nose. There's also a slight sniff of metal and copper, and a bit of pear juice. The flavor is very mild and *very* mellow, tasting of underripe pear skin, tortilla chips and a refreshing aftertaste. Not as crisp or as quenching as I was tempted to think it would be (though it is an ale, not a lager) it is a promising start to my introduction with Fogbelt Brewing.

Deep gold, big white head steadily shrinks to lasting rocky top, some lace - beautiful
Aroma is citrus rinds, spicy, bergamot, hint of cat pee.
Taste is spicy resiny cat-pee hop bitterness, more juicy and sweeter up front restrained but firm and dominant, mild light and vague sweetness, lean maltiness, some lingering bread taste along with clinging bitterness that persists.
Good, well-made, but very much a standard wets coast beer and for me a bit tiresome since I really don't see the attraction to this kind of character.

On tap at the brewery in Santa Rosa. Yellow color. Aroma was pretty nondescript, I guess it smells like beer? Flavor was much the same boring and nothiing stood out. i guess if you want something light and easy to drink and need a mild buzz you might order a couple of these. I wouldn't.
