Fogbelt Bamboozle is called a Golden Milk Stout 7.8%. It is currently still brewed and offered, and has been for the last several months. I first bought some at the brewery in Santa Rosa in September 2023. I just bought more there in March 2024.
The label says it's aged in griffo bourbon barrels with coffee and vanilla.
Deep gold, small of white head soon thins to foamy ring. Aroma freshly ground coffee, raisiny bread underneath. Taste nice drill bodied character. Aromatic freshly ground coffee with gentle bitterness supported by raisiny bread sweetness. Coffee character predominates but the rest adds nice rounded character. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Very nice and enjoyable.
