This India Pale Ale is brewed with locally grown hops picked fresh and tossed into the kettle without drying or processing. Wet hop beers are only made during harvest time and celebrate the end of the season. These Comet and Brewers Gold hops were grown by 16 Quartz Hop Farm in Plymouth, California as part of our ongoing collaboration with the NorCal Hop Growers Alliance.

We just had this on tap at Fogbelt in Santa Rosa during their fresh-hop season. It is gold with a rich white head, thinning to a foamy ring, some lace. Aroma is wonderful, full, and characterful with lots of green, wet vegetation herbs, mint. Taste is similar, lots of character, a full body, well rounded, and balanced bitterness-sweetness despite the zesy herbal, complex and pungent hop character. Lively feel. This is outstanding.
