Refreshing and crisp, the John Doe is unfiltered, pouring a pale straw color with a creamy white head, and a slight chill haze. A light wheat sweetness balanced with subtle hints of lemon zest make this classic American wheat anything but ordinary.

A - It pours a hazy, pale yellow with several inches of fluffy white head.
S - I smell some lemon zest along with the typical wheat smells.
T - The lemon zest really stands out on the taste. It is light and refreshing.
M - Medium and prickly carbonation.
O - This seems to be the best seller on the handful of occasions that I have been to the brand new brewery. This is the first I have tried it since the opening weekend when I just had a taster. This is a nice wheat beer. I can see why it is a popular choice.
