Clean, classic, and balanced. The Pale Ale 419 is floral and fruity with light biscuit notes. The American Ale yeast enhances the character of the Cascade hops for a mild hop bitterness. It may or may not be named for the 419 area code.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It a clear copper with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bright bitter hop notes with subtle citrus highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright crystal malt start that turned a hoppy bitter finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Dark copper body capped with a thin yet creamy head. Not much of any scent per se; very faint malts at best. Excellent mild grain flavor with a well-balanced hop bitterness; mild esters. Medium-heavy body; juicy with a subtle sweetness in character.
A very enjoyable pale ale, well-balanced with malt and hop qualities for the style. It leans more to a gentle sweetness and complimentary bitterness; balanced and very good overall.
