32 ounce crowler
Served in a Phoenix Brewing nonic pint glass
This beer pours a deep orange color and is fairly hazy. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
It has a big fresh grapefruit nose. There are underlying earthy and pine notes.
The fresh grapefruit carries into the taste. It compliments the citrus flavors of the base beer. The is a definite pine finish with some bitter grapefruit.
Medium bodied with a slightly chalky mouthfeel
This is a nice addition to the base beer. It is refreshing with a west coast bitter bite.
