32 OUNCE crowler
Served in a Phoenix Brewing pint glass
This beer pours brown. It kind of looks like iced tea in color. It has rust colored highlights and is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves scare lacing.
I get a strong Hershey's syrup aroma. The hazelnut is faint.
The milk chocolate carries the taste as well. The hazelnut doesn't stand up the chocolate assault. It is damn near cloying.
Medium to thin mouthfeel
This beer sounded great on the menu. It practice to is a bit too much of the sweet side. More hazelnut would have helped offset the chocolate syrup thing it's got going on.
