Served in a Phoenix Brewing nonic pint glass
This beer pours amber with a pinkish tint to it. It is hazy and topped with an inch of eggshell head that leaves little lacing.
It smells like cherry cinnamon cheesecake. I am surprised at how well this beer captures that aroma. I really don't get any orange.
It starts out with a tart cherry flavor. I get a little cheesecake flavor. The cinnamon and orange seem to be lacking.
Medium bodied with a dry mouthfeel
Definitely not my favorite Meridian variant. Bring back the passionfruit.
