Served in a snifter
This beer pours amber with a pink tinge to it. It is hazy. It is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves nice lacing.
Sweet cherry and cinnamon smell. I think cherry delight rather than cherry cheesecake, since cherry delight was common at my white trash family reunions.
Sweet cherry flavor. I get light cinnamon. It definitely reminds me of cheesecake.
Medium bodied with a slightly dry mouthfeel
It captures the essence of a cherry cheesecake. I can't say that I am a big cheesecake fan, so this beer is not up my alley, but I can appreciate what they accomplished here.
