Poured from a 500 ml bottle into a Teku glass.
Appearance: Light brown to a deep raspberry red body, with a full finger of head that slowly collapsed to a thin cap. Tan bubbles.
Aroma: Smells a lot like a red wine. Plenty of fruits, oak and plenty of funk.
Taste: Straight up farmhouse funk. Oak. And those elderberries, well they add a balanced sweetness that evens out the barnyard funkiness. It's like a delicious fruit juice. I really like the amount of oak that comes out of this one.
Mouthfeel: Full of flavor, but light and easy to drink. Quite a bit of carbonation in this one too.
Overall: A decent farmhouse beer with a drinkability and juiciness that makes this one damn near perfect.
