16oz can served in a big snifter. Can is dated 100323.
Pours a hazy orange-amber without much head -- what's there is mostly big, sudsy lumps along the edge. Smell is gorgeous fresh hop character, floral resinous beauty.
Taste is good, and definitely has some of the gorgeous characteristics from the nose, but is marred by a boozy, overripe fruit note. This doesn't destroy its beauty, just diminish it. There's also some bright orange zest and pine resin to help compensate.
Mouthfeel is on the thick side, with a slight chalky and sticky texture. Overall...it's very, very good.
