Pours black with a light tan head.
Nose shows dry roasted malt, cocoa and oatmeal.
Very roasty flavours, quite dry. More oatmeal but no really coffee or chocolate, just dry roast. Turns out quite moreish though.
Lovely creamy carbonation and body.

Appearance- Pours almost black with rapidly disappearing tan head. Leaves no lacing.
Smell- Chocolate, coffee, Can't get that much aroma but smells pleasant.
Taste- Roasted coffee, bitter hops coming through. Chocolate malt, reasonably long finish.
Mouthfeel- Not overly carbonated, medium mouthfeel, slightly thin.
Overall- I thought this beer was a bit unbalanced but improved by the time I'd finished my
glass, an enigmatic brew and leaves me wanting to try more so I can see if it
convinces me.
