On-draught @ 16-Tun, Auckland, New Zealand.
5.7% ABV "aurum ale" brewed with kiwi fruit, sultanas, and golden kumara.
Taste isn't anywhere near as complex as Panhead's marketing claim of this having been brewed with 16 ingredients would have us believe. Faint citric acidity, subdued vaguely tropical fruit flavour (which I'd never peg as kiwi fruit in a blind tasting), lemon, pale malt.
Shockingly simplistic, but a drinkable brew. In classic Panhead fashion, it's more of a marketing effort than an earnest beer.
