Pours jet black, tan film for a head.
Smells of dark roasted malt, dry and bitter.
Taste follows, dry maltiness with a nutty bitterness and some smokey elements.
Medium body, light carbonation.
Not a bad beer, enjoyable and worth trying, but like my other beer from them, doesn't really resemble the style it is classed under. Much more like a nut brown ale for my money. But pretty decent and good enough that I will go back to them for more.
