I tried this on tap, chiled in a glass.
the color is a magenta hue with good clarity and pink head. the smell is floral with tropical fruit type smell. the feel is very good tangy with hibiscus texture and light sweetness.
This is a tasty take on the style with the hibiscus very well utilized to add a tangy fruity quality to the beer. Overall I really enjoyed the refreshing summer quenching qualities

A thanks to the creator of the canquest, woodychandler, for the hookup. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a light violet color with a 1/2 inch pink head. Smell is of mango, light hibiscus. Taste is floral, tart, very light mango, a bit of wheat zing. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall, was interesting to try, and not bad, but one is plenty.

This is a wild beer that I'd like to see Crystal Ball punch up the flavors even more! Pours a magenta type color with a one finger light pink head. Definitely a conversation starter for someone who isn't used to the brightness of hibiscus. Smell is almost non-existent, there's a faint, tart, cranberry juice type scent. Taste is more pronounced and well balanced between sweet and tart. The mango isn't hugely noticeable by itself, but it lends some general fruity sweetness to the slightly sour, floral flavors of the hibiscus. I would kind of like to see the mango flavor ramped up and for this brewery to embrace the sourness of this beer. Feels slightly dry and coats the tongue in a slight bitter stickiness, like drinking a sour juice. It's a tasty brew that I think could become great with some tweaking.
