A "San Diego brown." Intense aromas of graham cracker, chocolate and a note of raisin play off of a subtle sweetness and earthy, slightly citrusy hops. This beer begs to be paired with foods.

Very different brown that what is brewing locally at the moment. Nice caramel notes and a nice dark taste with a semi sweet finish. Easy beer to pair with any meal.

Had this on tap at URBN Pizza in San Diego's North Park neighborhood. Delicious brown ale, but very close to pushing into another territory (stout?). Deep brown in color. Tasted of fresh baked pretzels with a hint of chocolate. Seriously delicious. Would be great with pizza or anything else bready.
