Canned on 10/4/18
Pours hazy orange tinted with a yellow hue, finger of white head; good retention, consistent lacing around the glass, and a thick ring of foam around the surface.
Aromas of berried straw, ripe blueberries and strawberries, and raw hops meshed with unripened citrus fruits; soft, varied, and incredibly pleasant on the nose.
Tastes of juicy citrus and dank tropical notes form atop a herbaceous backbone; mango, ripe pineapple, bits of grain and grass; great, nuanced balance of herbal and fruity notes.
Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied, consistently juicy, and with a medium carbonation that can occasionally assert itself heavily, but never too far out of measure;a smooth bitterness works its way in as well, along with a hoppy prickle to finish that rounds things out excellently.
Another easy drinker from Triple Crossing. Everything soft, with the aroma and taste unique and pillowy in the fashion of one that’s tried a few TC DIPAs lately will have gotten used to; another good standard in a line of NEIPAs with ultimate drinkability.

Poured into a clear glass tulip. 09/14/17 NEW JOY on bottom of the can.
A: cloudy golden with 1-finger off-white head with a lot of lacing around the glass
S: a lot of peach and apricot with some tropical notes too like guava and passion fruit with pineapple
T: similar to nose with peach and pineapple up front with a touch of malt sweetness and moderate bitterness. More tropical punch flavors in the late palate.
M: clean and dry in finish with medium body at most
O: excellent dipa and would love to catch it fresher in the future.

Nose is a touch muted, but I did catch papaya and a touch of pineapple that carries over quite accurately to the taste. Sweet, very little heat, if any, and an earthy, slightly floral bitter finish that does allow for an alcohol induced sweetness for the after taste.

From a growler, pours a moderately hazy deep orange. Two fingers of foam leaves streaky lacing. Smell is citrus, tropical fruits, fresh pine resin and spicy herbs, with some anise in there as well. Taste follows, with modest bitterness. Medium-plus feel. Overall, kind of a West Coast meets East Coast IIPA, very good stuff.

Pours a cloudy orange with a quarter inch white head that dissipated quickly and left little lacing. Smells of tangerine, peach and a hint of orange pith. Taste follows the nose with sweet tangerine, peach, orange pith, mango and some sweet malts on the back end. Mildly bitter, slightly dry finish, medium bodied, lightly carbonated.

Appearance: Arrives a slightly hazy amber color with a one finger head that leaves a few shards of lace
Smell: Tangerine and papaya tones
Taste: Tangerine dominates with the papaya joining; through the middle, white grapefruit bitterness builds, with a hint of malt underneath; moderate to high bitterness through the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Somewhat of a throwback IPA style but still enjoyable
