Canned on 10/5/21; consumed on 10/22/21
Pours a nearly opaque, dark golden orange body topped with multiple fingers of fluffy, soapy, white foam; great head retention leaves a craggy half-finger of cap along with a thin, frothy collar and myriad webby/spotty lacing draped across the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens with a slight lime underpinning,, leveled by sweet orange with tinges of mango into the middle, where underripe papaya provides an earthy prelude to grassy resins as an underripe dank pineapple tone closes.
Taste shows distinctly minty undertones inform green papaya and pithy mango upfront; a touch of lime compote over the mid-palate restrains further tropical hop tones from developing, leaving the flaky malt backing more prominent into the finish.
Mouthfeel presents a medium-light body with a fluffy, moderate carbonation and comprehensively silky texture; effortlessly deft with just a distant twinge of bitterness over the mid-palate, a subdued hop twang into the back end guides through a slightly resinous glide on the finish.
Carried by the almost quintessential, impressively plush Triple Crossing structure, the expression of the hop profile is largely basic, though carries enough diversity to remain interesting in bursts while remaining level through a quietly established malt underpinning.

The beer pours a nice white foamy that dissipates quickly while the beer itself is a cloudy orange color.
The smell is good. It has a nice tropical mango note mixed with a pine grassy note. There is also a nice grapefruit rind note as well.
The taste is good. The grapefruit rind mixed with a grassy pine resin upfront and a mango note in the finish. There is a sweet honey note from the malt.
The feel is good. It has a medium and smooth body to it. There is a light tingling from the carbonation.
Overall, a good beer worth getting. It has a decent and varied hop note to please most people but isn't overwhelmingly hoppy either.

Review/rating number 2000, and what a beer for it!
On tap at Triple Crossing Downtown in Richmond.
Pours a hazy orange with fine, soft foam.
Smell is juicy and tropical, with wave after wave of mango, pineapple and oranges pleasing your nostrils in an almost filthy way.
Taste follows the nose well, adds in a bit of honeydew melon and a slightly sweet richness. Pretty powerful bitterness and terrific hop bite with some vanilla and pine on the long finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy and well carbonated.
Overall, a great beer, perfect balance, yet huge flavor. Amazing.

Pours a cloudy apricot color with a large, fluffy, well retained head that left excellent lacing down the glass. Smell is rather mild with orange predominate and a bit of pine. Tastes of orange, lemon, resin, grass and unripe cantaloupe. Medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, sticky mouth feel, mildly bitter and dry finish.

Really really great IPA here!!! Wish I had gotten more of this to really stack it up better against TCB's other solid offerings, but as of now I would rate it slightly less than Clever Girl, N&K, Interstellar, etc.
